Salisbury Cathedral

This drawing is from the North West showing the West end of the building and the main entrance. The cathedral was built over a period of 38 years between 1220 and1258 and has the highest spire in the UK (123 metres). It also boasts the largest cloister, the largest close and the oldest working clock (1386).
